Theists and atheists: This video shows a perspective that SHOULD bridge the gap ...logical atheists are not closed minded, just logical. Take time to find and then consider their views and you might find you have more in common than assumed. Atheists, cut religions a little slack. Many religious folk are genuinely concerned for others well being and believe, wholeheartedly, that the belief theyve been tought as infallible truth is just that.....keep in mind, anytime one is confronted with an opposing point of view, the brain goes into fight or flight mode(if you will). That in mind, there is a chemical predisposition at hand that can make it nearly impossible for them to completely let go of, especially deep rooted, indoctrination. Evolution shows itself throughout history. Even in religious works we can see it. From the Torah to the modern Christianity we see man move from slaves, sacrifices, chauvinism and stoning disobedient children to death, to free and accepted women, educated children, no slaves etc. The point......during this period of time, more folks than not, stood against such progress an fought it tooth and nail. We should learn from this, as to guide us away from assisting in the slowing down of such progress.
