There are 4 guest characters in the soul series that have impressed me, both character wise & playstyle wise: heihachi mishima ( in his ending, HE DESTROYED THE SOUL EDGE WITH HIS FISTS), link: hero of time( picked up on some of sword skills that he saw & passed that knowledge to the hero of twilight), anzio ( his story is canon, that means assasins creed shares the same universe as soul & tekken), darth vader ( his destined battle is with mitsurugi, the local badass samurai, plus he is good tier wise) But secretly, I do believe there was a fifth or sixth or seventh or eighth or ninth or tenth or eleventh or twelfth or thirteenth & here are my contenders for the behind the scenes characters: 5. Sheik: due to the organisation that tara belongs to & what they do plus the possibility of them discovering how link came to their world, sheik comes & secretly kills members of this organisation so they dont harm link 6. Boba fett: hired by the empire to make sure that no one interferes with empires plans & to gather intelligence on potential threats to the empire & to eliminate anyone wise enough to use godly power to destroy the empire fleet sent to earth 7. Samus aran: during training on zebes, the chozo send her to earth via time travel to egypt to help defeat an encroaching menace threatening them, however so to prevent causing a ripple in space time, she comes in disguised as a servent of the egyptian god horus, the way she looks is like the jaffar from stargate, making her playstyle as a staff fighter 8. Ganon: intrigued by the dark power of the soul edge, ganon goes to investigate the potential of this power to wreak more havoc on hyrule 9. Axl low: whilst time travelling, he gets a call from slayer to defeat tara, who is holding I-no hostage, so as to prevent her knowing how to get to the backyard & give nightmare the knowledge to use the valentine clones & potentially brainwash justice to wreak havoc on the world, he goes to this time period with the help of another time travelling brit, so to make sure I-no doesnt crack 10,11,12, 13: jin kisaragi, ragna the bloodedge, noel vermillion & rachel alacard: sent to the past by kokonoe to prevent both sword spirits from causing havoc in their world, all 4 of them seek to prevent them from learning about Amaterasu & the azure grimoire & potentially increasing their power even more. Plus to save some people that they know from certain death
