There are many stereotypes & self-fulfilling prophecies that destroy marriages: **The belief that “all men cheat” is an ancient stereotype & a self-fulfilling prophecy that continues to destroyed countless marriages. **The belief that “50% of all marriages end in divorce” is another deadly modern-day stereotype statement that is not only statistically wrong & but if repeated often will soon become a self-fulfilling prophecy. Research shows that the actual divorce rates are surprisingly lower that the stereotypical 50%. Do not underestimate the bewitching power of believing a lie. “For as man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7. Job confessed “What I always feared has happened to me. What I dreaded has come true.” Job 3:25. NOTE!! When you falsely believe that your marriage will fail; your marriage will surely fail. When you falsely believe that all men cheat; your man will cheat. Believe you’ll get old together. Believe your marriage’s best days are ahead. Believe your marriage will get better. Do you believe?
