There are truly no words to describe what I just experienced. I was asked to speak at the ground breaking ceremony for Cpl. Robert Thrailkill today in Belding, Michigan. Witnessing the amazing things that Homes For Our Troops is doing for our wounded veterans drove home the fact that together, as a Section, we are making a difference. It was an honor to meet Robert and all the wonderful people that took part today. I presented him with a check for $8,003 that we collected from local businesses who wanted to donate directly to Roberts house. I would like to thank the Palisades Power Plant, SpartanNash, Borgess Gardens staff, Strength Beyond, Kelsec, Dondi Squires and Tapper Propane. I will be writing a full blog about this event that will be on the Section webpage....but for now I just wanted to share some pictures of this incredible event.
