There have been calls for Team Nana to ignore Team Alan and focus on Team Mahama because the 18th Oct outcome is a done deal. With respect, I think this argument is waterlogged. Team Nana has an internal contest to fight. It must not, and cannot, take anything for granted and presume anything. The team has a duty to ensure its win is emphatic by seeking the highest possible score. I would aim at 92% minimum, just to be sure, and to make a political statement. Team Mahama will be dealt with after 18th October. In fact, if Team Nana were to concentrate on Team Mahama now, there would be claims probably by the same crowd that Nana is arrogant and complacent and takes the party for granted. I am sure Usain Bolt takes each of his heats very seriously.
