There is reason our Supreme Court has autonomy from the other - TopicsExpress

There is reason our Supreme Court has autonomy from the other branches, collegiate in nature, and from the three branches has the most stringent of requirements. Our Constitutional framers intended to have it this way. Fiscal autonomy: Prevent undue influence from the other two branches Administrative autonomy: To administer justice progressively and efficiently as possible without outside interference Collegiate nature: That no whimsical and arbitrary decisions are made by the will of one person, and reasoning and judgment is made in accordance with the Constitution, the Supreme Law of the Land Most Stringent requirements: Only those in the legal profession, duly accredited lawyers, after 15 years in the practice of law, appointed by the president, after short listed by Judicial Bar Council, etc... The list goes on Check the minimum requirements for the President, Senator, and Congressman. No where near as demanding. And President Aquinos own appointments voted against DAP! This shows the independence and integrity of the justices he appointed himself. Despite being named by the president as justices and the chief justice, the honorable justices with the concurrence of other in their moral and legal certainty gave a constitutionally correct and mandated ruling for the protection of the Filipino citizenry. I say Good job, Honorable Supreme Court! One man should not be able to say what should is constitutionally viable, we have a COLLEGIATE SUPREME COURT OF ACCOMPLISHED LAWYERS to help us with that.
