There is something unwhite about the black man, his thinking, his perception and mention it, many things about him! Well, he possesses some admirable good, not with a lot of selflessness though. Some Africanist may be tempted to ask for my head in a bowl for a desecration as big as this, ask not for my head in a bowl, it is also in the perlance of same Africa that one finds philosophising as ejo ki sejo eni ka ma mo o da (one can never lack the acumen to judge his own case). So, it is not less of mine an indictment than yours. At this stage when humanity is at the mercies of an organism, an organism that is even too minute for mans giant eyes to sight, not without the assistance of technology: Ebola virus. With what fashion can one then begin to describe a situation where a man as cosmopolitan as a medical doctor with all the expected refinedness who thought of no other way of helping himself and mankind but to treat a smuggled Ebola patient in a hotel in Port Harcourt for pecuniery advantage. The black man vs non-black man: 1. A white doctor in Liberia that suspected he had symptoms of of EVD voluntarily quarantined himself. 2. It is relevant to know that Ebola has found its way to many non-African countries, but please, take note that there has been no record of any secondary victims, it has always ended up with the first sufferers. 3. The black minded humans ranging from Patrick Sawyer to another unnamed ECOWAS diplomat who ferried Ebola to the city of Port Harcourt and now his host, Dr. Lyke Enemuo whose cupidity did not only kill, but worse, make hundreds of life, including his own wife and a three month sinless child susceptible to the fear of both imagined and real death.(apology to his soul and family if he was just innocently stupid and not selfish). 4. And imagine an even more bestial senerio in Leberial where youths protested and set free, suspected EVD carriers under surveillance. From the records available, Ebola has been able to put to test, the responsiveness and selflessness of man from different races, the black man is at the back again!
