Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! 2 Corinthians 5:17 When we take Jesus as our Savior, the past is forgotten by Him, because before we were in sin and wallowed in it, and now we are reborn in Him and the past life is forgotten because we are new. However, it is our human nature that remembers the past, even though if Jesus is strong enough to forget it, why cant we forget it? I think a lot of it is because we dont want to, we like to have things on other people that will bring them down, that will humble them, or something along those lines. We can forget it, so in this new year lets do our best to forgive and forget the past. We can remember the good things and lets go forth and do that.
