Theres a show called Discovery ID. They want to interview me about an old case of mine. They were supposed to come to New York for the interview this weekend but called to see if they could fly me out to Los Angeles on Tuesday and put me up at a fancy hotel to do the interview there. I hate even leaving Brooklyn, so I declined their generous offer. The case involved an Erotomaniac who stalked the Chief Surgeon at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital for nine years. There has already been a Vanity Fair article written about the case, and a movie for Lifetime, called Obsessed, starring Jenna Elfman as my client and Kate Burton (Richard Burtons daughter) as me. I spoke to Jenna Elfman about my clients character and then she tried to persuade me to consider Scientology. The movie was directed by John Badham, who also directed Saturday Night Fever and War Games. If you ever watch the movie, watch for my screen credit as a legal advisor. I think its right after the hair and makeup people.
