Theres times in your life you wonder if the things youve done in - TopicsExpress

Theres times in your life you wonder if the things youve done in the past has made a impact on someones life. For what its worth it matters to me. My dad left when I was only 2. We were poor and lived with my Grandpa & Grandma for 11 yrs. Well, I said we were poor but I never knew it, we had food, shelter and clothing and at that age thats all we needed. So to my point, my Grandpa Jay Turman and both my uncles Jr & Delane Turman made sure I got to tag along when they went hunting, heck even my mom took me on occasions when she could. Years later I wanted to give back what was given to me, a chance, a offer or just because its just plain fun to take anyone hunting thats never had the chance. I look back and again I wonder, did I make a impression on anyone. Well I received a message from a friend of mine from 20 yrs ago, today and wanted to share her response with you. Just remember, you can make a difference. Every time I see something you post here, I think about the wonderful things you did for Erics son Chris as he was growing up. He still likes to hunt and fish (that will never change), but he has also grown into a wonderful young man. He is now 27 and father to a 2 1/2 yr. old daughter. (He bought her a pink fishing rod for her 1st birthday) He has a wonderful wife too. They are awesome parents and both going to school to be Nurse Practitioners. Chris will graduate in August, and he already is being sought after by a Family Medicine to practice in their office. He is going to East Carolina, and his wife just started in January at Duke. I see your posts and just pretend Im hugging you for being so kind to him. Just know that your good deeds are not going unnoticed. Thank you for helping him become the young man that he is.
