There’s some rare happy news out of North Korea. They’ve finally released Ohioan Jeffrey Fowle. He’s been in custody for six months, awaiting trial on a charge of – believe it or not – leaving a Bible in a nightclub. Two other Americans are still being held there, including Kenneth Bae, a missionary who’s reportedly suffering severe health problems while serving a 15-year prison sentence for unspecified “hostile acts.” A White House spokesman said they’ll continue working actively to get them released. By the way, a reminder: Marine Sergeant Andrew Tahmooressi has now been held in a foreign prison longer than Jeffrey Fowle. Would it take that much work to pick up the phone and call the President of MEXICO to get him released?
