These amateurs just borrowed the name. I do wonder whether true-Anon would respond if those locals are arrested, and how; it’s just as likely to mock them for posing a own private army as it is to condemn the PAP and truly start a war. Or they may not notice. By the way, I don’t regard the distinction between “Singapore government” and “Singapore” to be non-trivial in this case. It’s common for any media to conflate the state and country, and frankly these amateurs have themselves to blame for having to rely on media channels to spread their message. I think true-Anon would have simply blasted everyone and left no doubt about what they really said. And of course, it’s a little telling that the first cries of foul against ST for failing to report the distinction came from the usual anti-establishment suspects, and amateur-”Anon” picked up on it from there.
