These are just a couple of gameday highlights from Austin Whites Terriers season. I love reading stuff like this!! Proud papa!! Justyns 1-hit gem paces Terriers past MAF Gators, 3-0 in game one of the championship round! An impressive effort by John Justyn led the Stark County Terriers to a 3-0 win in seven innings over the MAF Gators on Sunday at Thomas Worthington High School. The Gators couldnt get anything going as long as Justyn was pitching. They managed just one hit off of Justyn, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his seven innings of work. Austin White racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Stark County Terriers. He homered in the first inning. Kyle Pawuk ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He went seven innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed three runs. The Terriers didnt relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when it scored on a two-run home run by Austin White. W: Justyn (SCT) 4-0 L: Pawuk (MAFG) Terriers offense too much for Diamond Boys in 10-0 rout! The Stark County Terriers shut the door early on the Diamond Boys, capturing a 10-0 victory on Tuesday at Stow High School. The game was decided quickly as the Terriers exerted its will early with eight runs in the first three innings. An RBI single by Austin White in the first inning supplied the early offense for the Stark County Terriers. He racked up four RBIs on three hits. Cory Carl had an impressive outing against the Diamond Boys lineup. The Diamond Boys managed just one hit off of Carl, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out one during his five innings of work. Brennan Morell took the loss for the Diamond Boys. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one. The Terriers added seven more runs in the top of the third. Austin White singled, bringing home Carl and Joe Smythe to kick things off. That was followed up by Garrett Crums double, plating Christian Evans. The Terriers piled on two more runs in the top of the fourth. Austin White doubled, scoring Preston May to start the inning. That was followed up by Garrett Crums single, plating White. Terriers win game two of double header, 5-2! Austin White went 3-3 at the plate as the Stark County Terriers took home a 5-2 victory over the Up To Bat Titans in seven innings at Walsh University on Sunday. White doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and fifth innings. The Up To Bat Titans couldnt get anything going as long as John Justyn was pitching. The Titans managed just two hits off of Justyn, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his six innings of work. Antonio Bennett was the games losing pitcher. He lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs. The Terriers never trailed after scoring one run in the first on a walk, a stolen base and a single by White. The Terriers tacked on another four runs in the fifth. Christian Evanss single got things going, bringing home Cory Carl who walked. After pushing across one run in the top of the sixth, the Up To Bat Titans faced just a 5-1 deficit. An RBI single by Noah Bland set off the Titans rally. Finally, Justyn got Justin Burgos to ground into a fielders choice to end the threat. A one-run seventh inning helped bring the Up To Bat Titans within three. An RBI double by Jacob Budyka gave the Up To Bat Titans life. Austin White ended the game by getting Travis Auth to fly out.
