Thieves is a great way to introduce the idea of essential oil ‘blends’. •The legendary Thieves story The Thieves essential oil blend is steeped in tradition and folklore. The story begins with a band of robbers who looted abandoned homes as entire communities died of the plague. The bandits avoided the deadly sickness by wearing a mixture of clove, cinnamon and other ingredients. The king of the land called for the bandits’ capture. When the thieves were finally apprehended, the king demanded the recipe in exchange for a more lenient punishment. While there are many versions of this story, the legend continues with Young Living’s Thieves essential oil blend. •Highly effective against airborne bacteria. Studies conducted at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah demonstrated its killing power against airborne microorganisms. •Use Thieves internally and in the air Thieves essential oil blend is a staple for those who want to guard themselves against obsessive bacteria that have the potential to penetrate the immune systems. Thieves can be used both internally and in the air. To use it internally, place 2-3 drops in a capsule and swallow daily for extra protection. Or, drop directly on the tongue, in a spoonful of Young Living’s Blue Agave, or on a piece bread and swallow. Feel free to diffuse Thieves liberally in the home with a Young Living diffuser especially during those months where extra immune support is needed.
