Things I have learned during my maiden motorcycle tour... 1.When you cant convince your parents about your plan, involve them in your plan ;) 2.When your GPS system says 300km,it actually means 330+ km :( 3.If you want to explore India in a true sense, throw away your GPS device :D Your chaiwala,Rikshawala and locallites are your best guide :) 4.Overtaking at 85km/hr gives you high..but cruising at a constant speed of 65km/hr is a pure bilss. :) ( Dad you were right) 5.Maharashtra PWD sucks big time..but as soon as you enter Gujarat and Rajasthan, you wish to have an auto mode for your motorcycle ;) 6.No one dares to mess with RE rider...even its your fault :p 7.India is way more beautiful and diverse than it appears in your Geography textbooks :) 8.If you want to know what Atithi devo bhava actually means, spend sometime in Rajasthan and with its heart warming people!!! 9.Ugly speed breakers at every 200mts is a concept that begins and ends in Maharashtra! 10.Amount of fat you accumalate over yo ur body is directly proportional to the number of days you ride!! :p 11.While riding, your bums are most important part of your body, they demand your respect after every 50kms :p 12.Avoid night drives,Indian roads are unpredictable like our great Indian cricket team:p(Lesson learned hard way) 12.Only fellow RE riders gives you Thumps Up (Y),others gives you looks!! 13.Like your body, your motorcycle needs warm up.Your driving, reflexes and your machine gets smoother with every passing kilometer. 14. Buffalo is the dumbest animal of all..they start dancing on roads soon as they see your approaching vehicle, scaring the hell out of you!!!! :O 15.With 500cc RE under you, comes REliability,REsponsibility and REspect!! 16. Going on a tour on 2 wheels gives you sense of complete freedom!!! 17.When you have something in mind, just do it..Life is too short to wait for anything!!! :)
