Things I realized while pizza cooked: You can create destruction, but you cant destroy destruction. For that reason, there will always be destruction. You can create creation, and you can destroy creation, and for that reason, the life of creation is limited. Destruction will always have the upper hand. And yet, to the universe, theres no such thing. The universe sees change, and nothing more. It sees neither creation, nor destruction. We created this construct -- we created the idea of a static universe, a barbie world in which ideals, morality, love and friendship are molded in plastic. But even plastic turns back to atoms, to particles, to radiation. And why shouldnt it? Why is life more important than plastic, than particles? Theres no school that says it is. You have to believe it. More interesting still, life is really the only thing which can create, and only by destruction -- food from life; life from plants; plants from nutrients, nutrients from chemicals, chemicals from atoms, atoms from particles, particles from energy, energy from the Big Bang, and this latter ... from what? God isnt a noun -- God is a verb; an action; a process. God is the original creator. The process by which creation was created. And at whose sake were we created? What did God destroy to create us? The universe. Fair trade, I say. No one was enjoying it anyways, and well meet our end before the universe meets its. It wont even know its being destroyed. It doesnt believe in the barbie world. Only we do -- think of that -- form created to create form to destroy form in the name of creation.
