Things you didnt know about Denver nightlife round 1: Dont buy top shelf drinks at a SoCo club... chances are good the top shelf bottle was re-filled with well booze. When youre a professional booze-hound, like myself, you can taste the difference in your shot between Goose and McCormicks or Jack and Jim or Don and Jose. Unless you see the bartender freshly open the top shelf brand bottle at a SoCo club... I doubt its premium. I used to only buy my drinks from one specific bar at certain SoCo clubs, which they will pour premium booze for their preferred customers... but if youre just some regular customer, youre better off buying a beer. Theyve accidentally poured me from the wrong bottle... I could taste it and called them out on it. Dont let it happen to you.
