Think About God THOUGHT: The function of prayer is not to influence God, but rather to change the nature of the one who prays. CHALLENGE: Instead of praying for things to “go your way” today, simply ask God to transform you into a devoted follower of Christ. Do this every day and you will discover the “stuff” you used to pray for may seem less important. REFERENCE: But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.
