Thinking of Cindy Pincus this morning, who got her head busted open by a police officer this weekend. She was helping someone who had fallen during an otherwise peaceful protest when the officer clubbed her. She worked at Glide for a while and shared our values of non-violent activism. This is what is happening, despite whatever narratives are being sold. Yes, there are small amounts of people breaking small amounts of stuff -- and that is not anything worth focusing on in light of the fact that were dealing with racism and police brutality (and often both) in our country.
