This Just In - Press Release: October 7, 2014 Congressman Van Hollen Visits Local Nursing Center Congressman Chris Van Hollen will tour and meet with the residents, families and staff at Potomac Valley Nursing and Wellness Center in Rockville on Wednesday, October 8 at 2:30 p.m. “As our nation’s seniors and those who care for them begin to make important choices about their health care, especially their long term care needs, we look to our leaders in Congress to assure that long term care services will be available when we need them,” states Potomac Valley Administrator Michelle McEyeson. “Congressman Van Hollen has been an advocate for seniors’ needs and we look forward to hosting him in our center,” she adds. Potomac Valley is the only skilled nursing facility in Maryland to receive all four of the following designations: 5 stars by Medicare, Joint Commission accredited, AHCA Bronze National Quality Award, and US News & World Report “Best Nursing Home” for two consecutive years.
