This Mayor’s Response Was Perfect After Muslims Sent Him a Copy of the Koran [READ] Last month, all of the Mayors of Montana received the gift of a Koran, ostensibly as part of an educational outreach program. The only problem is, the Korans were sent by the radical Islamic front group and unindicted co-conspirators CAIR, the Council on American and Islamic Relations. The other big problem? They sent the Korans to the Mayors on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. According to the Young Cons, one Mayor took particular exception to the timing of this “gift”, and wasn’t afraid to share his opinion on the matter. Michael J. Winters, Mayor of Great Falls, said “While CAIR would likely say that the Quran was distributed as an educational reference tool and in peace, the timing reflects very poor judgment; so much so, that one could interpret the mailing as an “in your face” overture. Americans could easily misconstrue the campaign as a subtle threat.” “The mailing is no coincidence. Americans need to know about this program to consider its meaning, implications and intent as world events unfold around us.” Of course, rather than address the issue raised by Mayor Winters, CAIR decided to instead label him as “Islamaphobic”, and completely dismiss his criticism. It should be noted that, while America looks at the 9/11 anniversary as a moment of somber reflection, and reaffirmation of our struggle against radical Islam, the radical Muslims joke about and celebrate 9/11 as a victory. The Mayor is right to question the timing and motives of CAIR in sending Korans to Mayors in American cities and towns on a sacred day. How would they feel if some organization sent Bibles to the leaders of Muslim cities and towns during Ramadan, or on some other sacred Islamic day? This last part is a great idea, might just include a pound of bacon!
