This Thursday, come meet Jake Moe; local celebrity in the Seattle area! Jake Moe, is a serial entrepreneur.... In 1971, he recruited his brother and they started Powder Magazine, which had grown to be the most popular ski magazine in the world. Upon selling Powder to Surfer Publications in 1981, Jake started SportsMedia, producers of the largest triathlon circuit in the Northwest, City League Ski Racing and Sports Northwest Magazine. Using these platforms, Jake branched out into radio broadcasting and TV show producing. Currently, Jake has teamed up with three partners and has developed the largest indoor tennis facility in the West. Also, Jake is developing the largest zip line system in the Northwest at Snoqualmie Pass.
