This animated short was created by me many years ago and as I reflect back on the graduate project of mine, I begin to think of all the changes and things I would of love to have added. The animated short is called the Magical Clay, inspired by another student project who years before me created a story about a boy and a forest creature who showed him the magical clay. In working on this small but lengthy project, I learned so many things and experienced the creative and technical insight to developing an animated film from scratch. However, this film was conceptualized, then story boarded, with a rough cut of animation to show the character in action. The music was composed by another student who talents are admired. In addition, the animation, lighting, modeling, effects, and editing was all done by me. The project took 7 months, including pre and post production scheduling.
