This $hit is driving me nuts !!! Where I agree that a truck stop is no place for a tiger, I truly believe moving him and anything they have to do to him to in order to relocate him will lead to, at best, an early death. If I thought this was really about Tony, my observation might be different. So far, in 10 years, they have only successfully paid lawyers and, Im sure more than one elected official(s) We are a state that destroys animals at a horrid rate every year. Year after year after year. I do NOT see this as money and time well spent !!! I stopped yesterday, in the rain, to see Tony and he was inside, like any civilized creature would have been. I was the fool standing in the rain ... lol At his age and the many dollars that have been thrown at this issue have only successfully accomplished the transfer of money for people. Long ago, when this first began, Tony was young and could have easily transitioned to a tiger rescue. Hell, I would have driven him there myself! However, at his age and being a single alpha male I only see the politicians making money. They could have built Tony his own santuary with the monies spent on this litigation or maybe even saved thousands of lives by investing some of these funds into parish shelters and TNR programs years ago.
