Rotary International and Speisim Pikinini PNG are conducting a family planning drive in Namatanai from Monday 8th December to Friday 12th of December. If you have a girlfriend / partner / spouse / wife or you are a young women interested in spacing your children or do not want to have children at this time and would like a family planning method, we are offering the implants at the Hospital in Namatanai from Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th Dec or you can also go to Sohun Aidpost on Thursday 11th Dec and Pire Community Centre on Friday 12th Dec from 10:00am to 3:00pm to have the implant inserted in your arm. This contraceptive device will produce the same hormone as in the 3 months depo injection but unlike depo, it can give off protection against pregnancy for up to five years.
