This is a great Southern Comfort food: Cheddar- Bacon Spoon Bread Nonstick Cooking Spray 1 3/4cup of milk 1 cup stoneground corn meal 2 tbs sugar 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 4 large eggs,separated 2 tbs all purpose flour 1 tbs oil 5 slices of bacon cooked crisp and crumbled 1 1/2 of frozen corn (thawed) 1 cup of cheddar cheese Pre heat oven to 375° Spray casserole dish Whisk milk,cornmeal, sugar,salt,pepper in large sauce pan till smooth and thickens Remove from heat Whisk in egg yolksflour,oil,till smooth. Stir in bacon,corn,and 3/4 cheese Beat egg bites with an electric mixer on high till medium peaks form Fold whites in cornmeal mixture. Spoon batter in dish, sprinkle remaining cheese Bake for 45 minutes
