This is a re-post to get more feedback: Ive been tossing this idea around for a while trying to figure out all of the angles to it, legalities, work involved. etc. I would be doing this, Genas wayyyy too busy to delve into something like this, but heres the idea: Id start a fundraising site (gofundme for example) to help thyroid patients with treatment who can not afford to pay out of pocket. There would be a cap to the amount each patient would receive, it would have to be first come, first serve, and the funds would go directly to the doctor, not the patient. There would have to be a statement emailed from the doctor stating financial hardship. Its JUST an idea right now. It would be a patient to patient donation help site - and for anyone else who would like to, or could contribute. What do you think of this? And if you were able to donate, no matter how small the amount, would you? And of course, this would mean seeing a thyroid savvy doctor, that goes without saying!
