This is a standard kosher slaughter house. The cow is perfectly aware, smells the blood and hears the agonizing bellowing from the other cows and is already in deep shock and terror. The neck is about to be sliced open. The machine will drop the thrashing body to the ground where it will go into seizures. The still thrashing body will be hoisted by one leg by chain upside down where it will bleed out. The poor soul will eventually die chocking on its own blood. There is NO excuse for consuming animal flesh, not burgers, not steaks, no food is worth breeding animals for the sole purpose of feeding humans their tortured souls. If you eat gentle farm animals, you should be required to go see what they endure from the day they are born and watch the slaughter process. Do not buy into the lies that the bolt gun renders them unconscious. Slaughter is barbaric agonizing cruelty beyond comprehension and every purchase of meat and dairy (cheese, burgers, all of it) supports this horrifically cruel industry. And this is kosher...
