This is a text book....it is NOT a little light reading for a rainy day...... Note on colors: This book will use a set of color codes and font sizes to denote, “what goes with what” much like in kindergarten, green goes with green. The code is given at the beginning of the notes it is rather simple even intuitive for those who make the effort.......There is no simpler way of doing this without the instructor being present and holding someone’s hand and doing it for them. Note on Font sizes: While the primary textual correlations from chapters could have been presented with just a verse or two and without showing whole chapters, that is essentially just providing less information “at your fingertips “so to speak. While doing it that way has resulted in the rest of the chapters in a very small in font size, it is important to remember that the primary objective is to focus attention on the larger font sections and the rest is just there to provide the whole context without looking it up as well as showing more advanced students the secondary and even tritiriary correlations found in the rest of the chapters. While the big fonts of various texts can be readily recognized as similar and or relating to each other, further correlations can often times be seen as the student progresses in understanding the various layers of the text and context.. While there will, of course, be those who complain about all those colors and text sizes how distracting and how they make the reading difficult, there are a few key points to consider and understand: 1. Most have no idea what the book of revelation is or how to properly understand a relativity simple book,( it is only a repeat of everything else that has been said already with few exceptions) thus a strong indication that the methods people are most familiar with are the stumbling block to proper understanding.....Perhaps it is time to step outside the comfort zone.......My experience strongly suggest this is the case. 2. The colors are used like kindergarten green goes with green ( this is one of the most basic methods in existence) so as to SHOW you not just tell you what is what and what goes where..(see the seven seals trumps and vials for an example of how the student would use the colors as a workbook style study not just a commentary)....one is proof the other is just someone’s assertions. ( many people today do not even know the difference between the two) 3. On the other hand, If you did not have the colors and or different fonts you would not be able to distinguish between any of the various identical words/phrases concepts et al in the bible text.....you would just have bible text and then what would be the point to explain anything if you did not make and show not just the primary textual correlations but also the secondary and so on as well. People dont do it which is the reason they dont understand a relativity simple book. Anyone can tell you what it means but few can prove or show you what it means. 4. The purpose of this commentary is not just to teach students conclusions. This commentary is also teaching proper methodology. While students may at first feel this is difficult or uncomfortable they should recognize the reason is because people are not familiar with proper methodology in the first place. In this modern day proper methodology has become an alien thing to most and what should be considered an alien approach is now considered the common place norm. the world is upside down.
