This is a video of Jackson in 1938. I know everyone who grew up in Yazoo City went to the big city of Jackson many times. So I thought yall might like it. It doesnt have sound, but you will see some familiar sights. It is interesting to see Capitol Street so busy like my parents said it used to be. I also remember Daddy telling me about swimming in the lake at the zoo. That part is toward the end of the video.
