This is a wonderful article by my grade school friend Marah Eakin! This is EXACTLY how I feel. Lebrons return induces guilt for those of us who were raised in Cleveland, but now worship Cleveland from afar. In my visit home this past week I was reminded how much I owe to the entire city for making me who I am. I may not be able to pursue my career in Cleveland, but I will make more of an effort to help the city that gave me everything. Lebron might be the only Cleveland expat that can make a magazine cover saying Im coming home but maybe the rest of us can simply find more ways to say Im giving back to my home. Although if Cleveland paid me 42 million to do absolutely anything, I would totally come back forever and do whatever you want!
