This is funny; Ive been trying to find clothes to wear to church this morning but my mind is about our new birth; seems like my spirit is much stronger than my flesh this morning and the boxes and confusion is a miner thing in comparison. When were born again, old things pass away and all things become new. We are linked to the blood line of our parents by the flesh for a lifetime but we are now linked to Christ by His Holy Spirit and all of His attributes, character and likeness thru His Blood. No wonder, its called being born again; we are, and what a marvelous mystery and only something that God could do. Now saying Im just like my Father has a whole new meaning.! As many of our flaws and areas yet undone in our lives, in Gods eyes, we are already perfected because of the power in His Sons blood that covers all sin. Though our sins be as scarlet, the blood washes us white as snow. My prayer today for myself is that the Holy Spirt takes complete control to over-come the sins that want to hang around and show themselves in my life. The flesh is as sinful as Satan but greater is He that is in me than He who is in the world Only God can perfect; not by might and not by power, but by My Spirit, sayeth the Lord. My Spirit is saying today, return to your first love with all of your heart and give Him all of your love, honor and respect. He is my rock on which I stand; not on shifting sand. Love you all, He gave His All for each one of us. Happy Sunday. !
