This is how you know that you are a true Supply Sergeant: Scenario 1: Me to Soldier: I need your DA Form 3161 so I can take it to the Company so your Leave will be approved. Soldier: looking puzzled and says my 3161? Me: oh my bad I meant your DA Form 31 Scenario 2: Me to another Soldier: I need to get on the Sergeant Majors calendar so we can plan my Lateral Transfer. Soldier: looking puzzled and says Lateral Transfer? Me: I said yeah, you know the ceremony you have when you get appointed to be a 1SG. Soldier: oh you mean Laterally Promote Me: yeah what did I say? Soldier: Sergeant you said Lateral Transfer Me: cant stop laughing and says Supply is always on this brain Thats the heart of a true Supply Sergeant, always thinking Supply.
