This is my lurcher boy Connor and he is my walking pal and best - TopicsExpress

This is my lurcher boy Connor and he is my walking pal and best friend for life. We were up in the hills and as always he was running and chasing and playing. He can be very wild and clumsy sometimes but ,good fun. During a walk he ran away further up the hill chasing something (as always) but this time he did not come back. After a while I started looking for him and there he was, lying in the bushes, as he couldnt walk. I checked everything and it looked to me that nothing was broken but I could not get him on his feet. I carried him from the hill down to my car and went to the vet. The vet checked his left leg and came to the same conclusion, nothing was broken. He gave him Lexicon. He told me to give him some rest and he should improve quickly. Indeed, later that evening he started walking again but he was limping. Back to the vet the next day for an X-ray. There we noticed that the soft tissue in his left front leg was slightly damaged. I put him on rest for 2 weeks, but, after that, still limping. I put him on rest for another 2 weeks but he is still limping. The vet told me last Friday that the knowledge about soft tissue is not huge and that he not really a solution for it. My question for you guys is. Who experienced the same and what was the treatment. I hope that some of you can help me or advise me what to do and how to treat that leg.
