This is my vest I am working on right now to be ready for Veterans Day. Took these pictures to aid the dry cleaners in placing the items, but unfortunately they lost their seamstress recently so I am hand sewing them on myself. Yes, I can sew. Since the pockets are hard to sew patches on without a machine, I will move the two patches which were to be on the pockets to new locations. I have and will be ordering more patches to be added, but for now this is approximately how my vest will look. Sewing on leather isnt easy when doing it by hand and I am wanting the vest ready by next Tuesday, I am having to work to get 25 items sewn between now and then. I am hoping it will turn out fine.
