This is not something I normally post but I know many of you know our Tanner and would like to know. We found out yesterday Tanner has a condition called SVT. It happened yesterday around 11am. Something made his heart start beating at 200 beats per second. Normally it is at 50 to 80. This happens to a lot of people but you dont know it because your brain automatically restarts you heart to beat at 50 to 80 beats per minute. He was admitted to Kaiser at 1 pm and later after failed attempts to RESET his heart to a normal beat failed he was transferred to Childrens Hospital. He was then given medication to slowly reset his heart but it would only come down to 170. At 440 am he asked to use the bathroom. As he got up he started to vomit. ... with myself and a nurse helping him I realized that his heart rate had reset itself... the Doctors said they had only ever read about this but somehow Tanner by throwing up made his brain reset his heart beat to normal. As of now 10 am Christmas day we hope to have him home with medication late tonight or tomorrow. He is doing well and really wants to come home for Christmas. Again we always try to post fun things but I know many of you would want to know and us telling the story over and over it taxing at this point..
