This is so interesting. Their methods, though I dont agree with, does show a large amount of empathy used in their care towards their patients, which is really quite beautiful to see and so necessary to help in aiding recovery I think. Its funny really, cause its like a contradiction. Their faces and manner convey an understanding of what their patients are going through, yet their chosen method of healing is not, If Im getting this correctly, they are not helping the patient understand what is happening and why they are how they are. its medication and sleep therapy. I would presume this is not the case today. I would like to think however that they still practice today, this caring and gentle manner and the treating of their vulnerable people as individuals, as people.
