This is the busy gals guide to foundation. I havent had any real problems with my tinted moisturizer lasting the whole day (currently, Im using stila cosmetics ) however if I know Im going to be on my feet/running around/meeting with clients, and I want a little bit move coverage without my makeup feeling heavy, heres two options. Use em both and your makeup will be guaranteed to stay put (and still feel light). *Side note--I do have some pimples in this video (Im human after all)...and the pimples are WAY more noticeable on camera than in person...in which case you could apply some concealer either right before you apply your tinted moisturizer (or foundation). If you do that, make sure to blend. You can apply the concealer after you apply your tinted moisturizer BUT youll need to complete step 2 below--and make sure to blend, blend, blend. Your finger, foundation brush, clean sponge, even a q-tip works--I use a @smashbo concealer or Lancôme* 1) Before applying your tinted moisturizer, apply a primer. I used to do this every. single. day. I love the way primer feels on my skin. Theres tons of awesome primers out there but I am using up my Too Faced Cosmetics Primed and Poreless. Delicious. 2) After applying your tinted moisturizer (or even foundation!) set it with by using a big brush and using your pressed powder or a loose powder on top. Thats sure to give you more coverage and keep your foundation on all day long. Obviously, this is step one. I havent added blush, eye makeup, etc. But I did want to break down the steps :)
