This is the comment I sent to whitehouse.gov today. 21 June 2014 Comment # 593 the world of ichthyology. Barack today’s comment comes from the wonderful world off ichthyology. It is based on the habits of the Siamese fighting fish or beta. The species is interesting because of certain mating habits. The following explains the habit: The aggression of this fish has been studied by ethnologists and comparative psychologists. These fish have historically been the objects of gambling; two male fish are pitted against each other in a fight and bets are placed on which one will win. One fish is almost always killed as a result. To avoid this, male Siamese fighting fish are best isolated from one another. Males will occasionally even respond aggressively to their own reflections in a mirror. Though this is obviously safer than exposing the fish to another male, prolonged sight of their reflection can lead to stress in some individuals. Not all Siamese fighting fish respond negatively to other male fish, especially if not too many of them are present. I have talked to some breeders who have commented that a third fish inserted into the arena will wait for the first two to expend themselves and then move in for the kill stroke on the battle weary survivor. This behavior guarantees the survival of the most fit physically and mentally. Barack I present you with this lesson because it applies to the battles waging in Syria and Iraq. On the surface the Sunnis under the flag of ISIS are fighting the Shia for supremacy. This has resulted in Turkey and others backing ISIS because the war will ultimately give Turkey the upper hand over Iran and may even eliminate the Kurds. Of course Iran, Iraq and Syria are looking for a victory over all Sunnis and the Kurds. These two betas are playing into the hands of those that originated the ISIS flag. The inspiration for the ISIS flag came from Al-Qaida whose roots sprang from the seed of a Wahhabi leader named Bin Laden. It is going to be interesting when the caliphate that now exist in Saudi Arabia moves in for the kill throughout the old Ottoman Empire. They will have the oil and Iran’s nuclear bomb technology. Barack it is amazing what nature and history can teach. You have chosen to ignore history and the history of nature.
