This is the eulogy i gave for my father a 20 year navy veteran and a wonderful father i am posting it on here so that others may see and read about what a great man he was Perfection, its something we as a people always strive for. whether its family, friends, work, or faith we always seem to want something to call our personal masterpiece I cant say that i can call my father a perfect man but i can say that he pursued it he followed a path that few would be able to follow. His life reminds me of a quote from Vince Lombardi " gentlemen we pursue perfection knowing full well that we will never reach it we pursue it non the less because in that pursuit we achieve excellence. I cant speak for the rest of you here but i can tell you that my father sought perfection in all of his relationships through his family, though half a world away through his faith, though challenged by trials through friends, whenever they needed an ear or a hand through work, with dedication and perseverance You see i under stand that there are challenges in life. That you can take the hard road or the easy road the right choice and easy choice. i learn this from my father who would tell me that if it is worth doing its worth doing right. So I would like to finish by telling you that my father loved you, that he loved you if he knew you and he loved you if you did not. You see my father loved unconditionally his heart and his home had no limits. So i cant tell you what a perfect man is..... but i can tell you who a perfect dad was
