This is the letter I want to send to the restaurant that took our reservation for Christmas and closed with out calling us... Re: Christmas Reservation Dear Sir: As I write this to you, upper most in my mind is the idea that you don’t care about the reputation of your restaurant. When I spoke to your manager three weeks ago, I was polite and did not lose my temper in way. My mother is 84 years old and heaven knows if she will see another Christmas, my aim was to give her the best Christmas possible and promised her a nice meal out. I made a reservation in good faith and would have totally understood if someone had had the decency to at least let us know that you decided to close the restaurant. Due to our not being notified, this woman spent her Christmas eating left overs, heated by microwave. At this point I am very disappointed that someone at your restaurant did not even send a letter of apology. But, I guess that may be just the way you run your businesses.
