This month I am celebrating being in Business for 12 years at MSDS! What has been a scary and exciting adventure, seems to have flown by so quickly! I initially said I would give it 5 years... I dont think anybody would have expected me to last this long.. My secret - you just have to love what you do - I love the Beauty Industry! There is never a dull day, you never have the same day twice and I get to meet amazing beautiful people who many I now call my closest friends. Yes there are times it can be a nightmare, other times it is an amazing dream.. I call it my marriage ;) I have met beautiful young women, who I have been so proud to train into some of the best Beauty Therapists in Australia! We have won many awards and are hoping this Saturday night will be a success again at The Australian Small Business Champion Awards - I am so proud we can represent Bathurst! I never knew so many people would respect what I would say about skin care and makeup.. I never knew I could be the person I am today and its all because I was given the opportunities from others (you our customers) who trusted my knowledge, training, skills and most of all my staff. So thank you to everyone for making the past 12 years possible. Thank you for keeping the MSDS team employed by supporting us. Yesterday I had very exciting news which will be a personal highlight of my career - I have been asked to speak at the Sydney International Beauty Expo Business Summit in August. 2014 is going to be a busy year with some exciting plans ahead! So thank you to our team, our customers, my patient friends and family. I am looking forward to the years ahead and knowing MSDS can continue to bring you the latest treatments, products, events and of course - results! Karla x
