This morning I awoke to see the photo of Aunt Mader Bell Logan, posted by my cousin James Richard Logan, educator in South Carolina. I had heard of Aunt Mader since I was a little boy from my Grannygrey, Ethel Marie Logan Nichols, - she spoke of Aunt Mader with such reverence, loving affection, that I well recall till this day. She honored her as a second Mama, after her Mama Ludie Pritchett Logan, who died when Gran was a young girl. As well, Gran having had eight children looked to Aunt Mader as a pattern for motherhood, a wife, and excellent keeper at home. She spoke of how well appointed her home was and how great her cooking was. I knew of this photo but didnt have a copy. I had Uncle Jim - James Richard Logans pic from Grannygreys collection. Uncle Jim was Grans Daddys ( John Logan ) brother. Now Aunt Mader & Uncle Jim are together again on fb. read more of the family in the family albums. Bless you JR Jr Logan, Love
