This morning I met Elmer, a new dog at the shelter. His breathing - TopicsExpress

This morning I met Elmer, a new dog at the shelter. His breathing was funny, so I looked in his mouth and found a stick lodged in the roof of his mouth. Poor guy! Luckily for him, West Suburban Humane Society is always ready to take care of its animals. A trip to the ER vet and a little sedation later, Elmer is one happy, sleepy pup. The stick was embedded for so long that Elmer will need additional vet care. Remember this holiday season that WSHS can only provide care for dogs like Elmer because of generous, caring folk like you. If youre considering donating to a charity, please consider us!
