This morning was quiet, almost peaceful. A good walk with an old friend (we really should meet up more often than once every 4 years..) with kids and dogs, both of which behaved themselves. Have put the moveable temporary fence around the chicken coop to give them more space and to give their run a bit of rest, have scrubbed the coop, fresh straw in the run and dusted the chucks with smite as best I could, stuffing was impossible to catch, so got squirted with the powder, best I could do, kids thought it funny. Hoed the veg patch a little. Got my log in details for my online learning and a phone call to say books in the post today so I can start now (eek) best get stuck into it on Thursday I think. #fightnegativity
