This page has been running for almost 4 years now? I am very thankful to all of you for supporting the page. I wonder if I can ask you all to do something? One thing that I have become very aware of, is that we (industry side/ workers and supporters) are so often too busy looking after our families that we forget that the squeaky wheel gets the oil! The success of this page, and other similar ones - and the driving force of my motivation has been that it has given people the confidence to have a say! Your voice HAS been heard! But if we fall silent now, then we lose all that ground we have gained. I am not big on self praise - but in my experience I can categorically 100% guarantee you all that people are watching - this page, other pages and other forms of social media such as the news paper comments. I know this because I am told by those who are in power politically and by those who are in power in the media. PLEASE do not fall silent! PLEASE comment if you support something that will benefit our state! PLEASE click the like button on a post you like! PLEASE take 30 seconds to simply say ditto if that is all you feel comfortable with, whether that be on facebook, twitter, or the news websites. PLEASE take 30 seconds to simply say this is not good for our state if you dont agree! If we fail to do this, then the only side that is heard is that of the environmental vandals who have brought this state to its knees by being the squeaky wheel! I support the move to offer investors the opportunity to invest in this state. I support the move to allow them to develop tourist attractions in our forests, as long as it is done so with respect and care for the environment. I support the move to allow those investors the ability to do what they do - run sustainable business that creates employment in our state, generating taxes that pay for our schools, healthcare and emergency services!
