This past Saturday marked the end of my cross country career. Eight years of my life dedicated to the most remarkable sport, a noble sport, a sport that defines me as a person. Cross country taught me perseverance and dedication pay off in the end. Distance running will always remain the very core, the foundation, of the person I am today. Most importantly, though, cross country afforded me the opportunity to forge lifelong relationships with some of the most incredible people on Earth. Thank you to everyone who supported me, raced alongside me, and participated with me in any capacity throughout my entire cross country career. I am so blessed to know so many truly beautiful people. Cross country may be over, but track season is just around the bend! Time to do work.
