This photo came from Bill Hechts pictures he took of the area. This is a picture in the winter of Farleys Point. I remember all the times we rode our Ski-D0s...Many hours...of family fun. My father loved his toys! We would ride around on the frozen ice....Which you had to be careful of! But Farleys Point and Carrs Cove were rather shallow and would freeze over well! I remember wearing all that gear...and ski-do -boots, gloves, etc. My sisters and I used to put our ice skates on (which was a no no!...dull the blades) and walk from our house to Carrs Cove to ice skate...I loved to skate in the moon light!
