This post is for my my beautiful God daughter and brilliant teacher Traci Lynn The other day she questioned m on calling #the pound sign Now if I was disagreeing with her dad ,my little brother John Baxter,I would automatically know I was right. But Traci gets her brains from her beautiful mom Kathie Baxter (Kathie Baxter I would have called you my sis but it would have confused the hell out of people ) So I checked the always accurate Wikipedia her is what I found The term Number sign is only popular in Canada. In most of the rest of North America the symbol is usually called the pound sign and the telephone key is called the pound key
