This song brought back a flood of memories and emotions. At a somewhat recent point in my life i was in financial ruin and completely alone for weeks at a time. The silence and sadness was so overwhelming that I would do really dangerous things to break it up. A few songs on this album used to blare throughout the house and across the property while I would sit drunk and bleeding on the steps of my porch. throughout the night pushing away the dogs and goats from trying to comfort me. While some friends and strangers were able to help me whittle down my attempts to leap into the depth. My family was the only thing able to finally break me from the deafness and the lull. I certainly cant convey my gratitude but please take a hug and a thank you as payment towards it when I see you next.... And if you reading this, are ever finding it difficult in the sometimes overwhelming task of waking up and attempting to make it through another day on this planet, please reach out if not to me, to someone.
